Provision of School Bus to Katani Secondary School
The project involved the procurement and official hand-over of a modern school bus to Katani Secondary School to enhance student transport, improve safety, and support participation in academic and co-curricular activities across Mavoko Constituency. This initiative forms part of the broader education empowerment strategy aimed at reducing absenteeism and expanding access to learning opportunities.
NG-CDF Education Bursary Disbursement Programme – 2026
The project supports needy secondary school and tertiary students across Mavoko Constituency through the NG-CDF bursary scheme. A total of KSh 70 million has been allocated to improve school retention, reduce financial burden on families, and promote equal access to education. Funds are distributed per ward to ensure fairness and wide community impact.
Mavoko Youth Vocational Training Centre
Establishment of a fully equipped vocational training facility offering courses in ICT, welding, plumbing, tailoring, and entrepreneurship. The center is designed to empower youth with employable skills and reduce unemployment across the constituency.

NG-CDF Bursary Application Exercise Successfully Concludes Across Mavoko Constituency
The issuance of NG-CDF bursary application forms officially concluded at Ndovoini Primary School in Muthwani Ward, marking the successful completion of this year’s constituency-wide exercise. The program recorded strong participation across all wards, reflecting both the community’s trust in the bursary initiative and the growing demand for education support. This year, a total of KSh 70 million has been allocated to support students across the constituency as follows: Mlolongo Ward – KSh 20 million, Athi River Ward – KSh 20 million, Kinanie/Mathatani – KSh 15 million, and Muthwani Ward – KSh 15 million. The next phase will involve the issuance of bursary cheques, which will be communicated to parents and guardians in due course.

An official bursary disbursement ceremony supporting needy secondary school and university students from Mavoko Constituency. The event will recognize academic excellence and ensure continued access to quality education for vulnerable families.
Free Medical Camp & Health Awareness Day
A large-scale medical outreach offering free consultations, maternal care, eye screening, blood pressure checks, diabetes testing, and distribution of essential medicine. Residents will also receive health education on disease prevention and nutrition.
Mavoko Business & Investment Forum
A networking and training forum for entrepreneurs, SMEs, and investors focusing on access to funding, business registration, taxation, digital marketing, and growth opportunities within Mavoko’s industrial and commercial zones.
